Joyce was such a blessing to us all at Zion-Benton Township High School. Her encouragement of teachers, staff, and students was truly an inspiration. I especially appreciate her patience and diligence, continually going above and beyond to help in so many ways- both inside and outside the classroom. We're praying for your family. Blessings, Tim Knight, Teacher Zion-Benton Township High School; Pastor, Community Christian Church

Bob & Becky Rockenbach (former Grayslake, Illinois residents) posted a condolence

Our sincere sympathy to all Joyce's family and friends. We have many fond memories of her. We also have fond memories of Grandma & Grandpa Jackson and other family members. Joyce's older brother George Jackson was our beloved brother-in-law for 29 years (married to Becky's sister Gladine Chambers and lived in Gages Lake, Illinois area and later in SW Arkansas.) Becky and Joyce attended Warren Twp. High School together. Although each was born in different cities in Arkansas, Becky Chambers and Joyce Jackson spent most of their lives in the Chicagoland area. A few years ago Becky & husband moved to SW Arkansas to retire and for warmer climate for health reasons; and currently live across the street from Joyce's sister-in-law Gladine Jackson Bennett. We were pleased to learn of the vast number of extended family members and friends in Joyce's life and know she was truly blessed with much love and support. "Memories link us with the past and sacred moments today help us honor this truth: LOVE lives forever." Peace and Blessings to All.
