Obituary of Mary Markon

Mary E. Markon, 83, of Winthrop Harbor, IL, died peacefully at home, on Friday, April 20, 2007. She was born November 4, 1923, in Kelly Lake, Minnesota. Mary was a devoted wife and mother, who enjoyed cooking and was best known for her savory roast beef. She is survived by four daughters, Janet Markon of Winthrop Harbor, IL, Sally (Ernie) Majarucon of Prescott Valley, AZ, Mary Jo (John) Claypoole of Naperville, IL, and Jeanne (Danny) Klinesmith of Waukegan; 8 grandchildren; and1 nephew. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eustace V. Markon in 1998; and two brothers, Bill and Jack Pink. Funeral Services will be private for the family. Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion is serving the family.
