Obituary of Essie Rogers

Essie Mae Rogers, 64, of Paragould, Arkansas, died on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at her home. She was born February 2, 1943 in Moro, Arkansas the daughter of the late Elmer and Mae Rogers. She was employed at Abilities Unlimited in Jonesboro and Paragould and attended the New Covenant Worship Center in Paragould. She is survived by two sisters Ruth Cross of Paragould, Arkansas and Mary Whitlock of Zion, Illinois; several nieces and nephews; and many friends at Abilities Unlimited. She was preceded in death by her step-father Grover Miller; sisters Jo Powell and Kathy Rogers; and one brother Roy Rogers. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, with Pastor Dan Hanners of Zion Church of God officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until time of services at the Congdon Funeral Home.
