Obituary of Richard Kee

Richard A. Kee, 51, of Zion, died on Friday, February 23, 2007 at home following a valiant battle with cancer. He was born December 19, 1955 in Waukegan. He was a member of MeadowRidge Baptist Church of Zion. For the past 16 years, Richard was employed in sales at Muller's Highland Park Honda. Survivors include two children Richard Kee Jr. of Grayslake and Kelly (Jimmy) Martin of Chicago; one grandchild Ariel Martin; his mother Helen Kee Bailey of Zion; one sister Cheryl (Darrell) Kee-Haynes of Ft. Knox, Kentucky; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Melvin L. Kee. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 27, 2007, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 28th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home with Dr. Rob Whitworth of MeadowRidge Baptist Church officiating. Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee has been suggested.
