Obituary of Faye Hummel

Fay Hummel, 79, of Waukegan, Illinois, died on Sunday, February 18, 2007 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. She was born January 12, 1928 in Dublin, Virginia and moved to this area in 1984 from Atlanta, Georgia. Survivors include her children Edgar M. (Pat) Hummel Jr. Of Laughlin, Nevada, Debra Faye (Hassan) Alchamaa of Atlanta, Georgia, Alda Kay (Ken) Gerry of Titusville, Florida, Rayburn C. (Bernice) Hummel of Orange Park, Florida and Susan Renee (Dennis) Wetzel of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois; thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and five sisters. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Glinda Gay Hummel and Shelia May Hummel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at the Ward Funeral Home, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Stockbridge. Local arrangements were handled by the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME of Zion.
