AFTER WORK by John Oxenham (1852-1941) Lord, when Thou seest that my work is done, Let me not linger on, With failing powers, Adown the weary hours,- A workless worker in a world of work. But, with a word, Just bid me home, And I will come Right gladly,- Yea, right gladly Will I come. ------------------ Barb was my prayer partner, and Jimmy was my friend. Barb stayed busy serving the Lord till the end with her prayers and sort of one-woman card ministry. The pastor is asking me to pray about getting involved in a card ministry now officially.
