Obituary of Roger Daily

Roger D. Daily, of Winthrop Harbor, IL, passed away on May 4, 2024.

Roger was born on October 9, 1949 in Red Bay, AL. He married Diann Jackson on July 13,1968 in Zion, IL. He attended Zion-Benton High School and was owner of Daily Highway Express.

Roger was a member of the Moose Lodge in Zion. He loved classic cars, owning a 1969 Chevelle. He and Diann had been married for 54 years and he was an only child. Roger took pride in keeping a meticulous lawn and was proud to be a grandpa to 5 grandsons and a great grandpa to 6 great grandsons.

Roger is survived by his wife, Diann Daily; son, Robert Dale Daily(Melody) and daughter Terra S. Ramos(Benny); grandchildren; Xander and Jordan Daily, Benny Ramos(Gabby), Caleb Ramos(Joselyn), and Zackery Ramos(Marie); great grandkids, Benny(Cinco), Alexzander King, Ezekiel, Zackery Jr, Elias, and Regino(Nino).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Oniece Daily.

A memorial service will be held Saturday May 11, 2024 at 1:00pm at the Zion-Benton Moose Lodge, 41517 N Sheridan Road, Zion, IL. Luncheon to follow after the memorial service.
