Obituary of Barbara Watson

Barbara Watson, 95, of Beach Park, Illinois, died on Friday, January 5, 2007 at Arbor View Nursing Home in Zion. Barbara was born December 18, 1911 in Geneva, Alabama and moved to Beach Park in 1987 from Florida. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church where she also belonged to the Dorcas Sunday School class. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Livermore of Beach Park; two grandsons Phillip "Stan" (Ann) Livermore of Antioch, Illinois and George (Patricia) Livermore of Yorba Linda, California; eleven grandchildren Miah (Lorraine), Trisha (Joe), Graham, Andrew, Abby, Kyle, Lucas, Kayma, Nate, Maggie and Annie; one great-great-grandson Austin; one sister Christine Clyatt of Williston, Florida; one niece Gloria (Buddy) Tillis of East Palatka, Florida; and good friends Coleta Wingo of Waukegan, Margaret Inman of Beach Park and Nancy McCarley of Beach Park. She was preceded in death by sisters Mildred Cargle, Maxine Hardee and Alice Drummond; one brother Phil Cargle; and her parents William and Mattie Sue Cargle. Visitation will be Friday, January 12, 2007 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 13th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home with Rev. Mitch Dowell and Rev. Tim Hartford officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Libertyville. Memorial donations to First Southern Baptist Church have been suggested.
