I don't have an image to share, but this man was always kind and always had a smile on his face. He will be truly missed! I will always have the memory when he live streamed. In his video he said you haven't been to pizza ranch if you haven't met Ana. That will be a much cherished memory upon the other times he came in to help. My deepest condolences to the family and friends who knew this sweet gentleman. I didn't know him long but long enough to know he was amazing.

Jake was one of those students who you never forget. He always had a smile and it was clear from the first day of 7th grade he had a love of acting and singing. When we would role-play historical figures, I could always count on Jake to give everything to a role. I do remember he was quite disappointed when he could not play Henry VIII but instead played his father Henry VII. He was a staple of the junior high talent show and helped put together the first two junior high plays. It was great being able to reconnect when he became an adult. Chatting about current events or about life was always a great reminder to me that the life lessons we chatted about in middle school mattered to him. It is tragic that he has left us too soon, but he will always be in my heart, I will always remember his smile, his desire to act and sing.

Breaks my heart to know his life ended way too early!!! This must be so challenging, and grief that’s overwhelming. Words cannot adequately express. Like Bill, I knew Jake since he was a baby. The Zappa family gathered every Sunday for a noon meal and plenty of conversation….laughter….celebration….amazing Italian food….and lots of loving advice! Jake’s presence alway reflected his joy-filled nature. I can picture him sitting at the table now - he always came to share his friends, be with family, and fill everyone in on the latest news of his next chapter of living. May his bright light shine on forever in the many lives he touched! He will never be forgotten. Sending love and hugs to you all!! I’m sorry for your tremendous loss.
