Obituary of Terry Robert McNabb

Terry Robert McNabb, of Zion, Illinois passed away December 16, 2023 in Waukegan, Illinois. He was born April 7, 1952 in Waukegan, Illinois to parents Radley and Ardis McNabb.

Terry was a proud graduate of Zion-Benton high school and attended Trinity College, MA Roosevelt, and The University of Chicago while getting his Bachelors Degree. Terry married his wife, Lois (Hedlund) McNabb December 24, 1972 in Osco, Illinois. Terry was an organist at Grace Missionary and Lakeview Church, and also attended Christian Assembly. He was employed for many years as a music teacher in Zion schools, district 6.

Terry was in, as well as led bands and choirs. He was a trained piano tuner and a creative artist. He loved music, movies, and his family dearly. He delighted in going to Door County and Colorado, but most of all he loved spending time with his dog Ernie and granddaughter Rhythm.

Terry is survived by his wife, Lois McNabb; children, Matthew R. McNabb and Hollie (Derek Oleson) McNabb; granddaughter, Rhythm Oleson; brother, Dennis McNabb; and life-long friends, David Sigafus.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents Radley McNabb and Ardis McNabb.
