Obituary of Leroy Stang

LeRoy Stang, 63, of Winthrop Harbor, IL, passed away January 23, 2024.

LeRoy was born June 30, 1960 in Waukegan, IL to Leonard and Dorothy Stang.  LeRoy was an avid outdoorsman and loved to ride Harley Davidson motorcycles.  He was a master carpenter and talented woodworker.

He is survived by his children, Dustin and Calvin whom he shared with Kay Stang; and a granddaughter, Madison.

He was preceded in death by his parents; children, Andrew and Erin; and a grandson, Jacob.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL.
