Obituary of David Wayne Harwick

David Wayne Harwick, 67, of Zion, IL passed away December 30, 2023.

David was born November 29, 1956 in Hazel Green, WI. He grew up in Galena, IL, moved around for awhile and finally settled down in Zion, IL. David married Larissa Coombs on June 5, 1993 in Chicago, IL. He served his country by joining the United States Army where he received an Associates degree. His career consisted of a variety of retail, managerial and customer service positions.  David found his calling as a counselor at The Livingroom Wellness Center in Waukegan, IL. When not working, David enjoyed gardening and spending time with his dog, Sammi. Above all, David enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends.

David is survived by his wife, Larissa Harwick; son, Jamie Harwick; daughters, Sarah (Mark) Neilson, Laura Gates, and Jordan Harwick; grandchildren, Rebecca, Kailyn, Nic, Audra Mae, Tayden, Carter, Graham, Cooper, and Foster; great-grandchild, Luna; father, David E. Harwick; brother, Steve (Nora) Harwick; nieces, Angie, and Tara and nephew, Kurtis.

David is preceded in death by his mother, Audrey Harwick.
