Obituary of John "Johnny" T. Barr IV

John T. Barr IV, of Delavan, Wisconsin passed away December 21, 2023. He was born May 16, 1981 in Winfield, Illinois to parents Teodosia Barrera and John Barr III.

John graduated high school in Suffern, New York. He was self-employed and has recently been working at his mother’s restaurant, El Lago, in Zion, Illinois.

John is survived by his children, Daisy, Josh, and Katie Barr; Granddaughter, Isabella A Lagunas Barr; Mother, Teodosia (Tochi) Barrera; step-father, Rogelio Barrera; sister Diane (Carlso) Ibarra; niece, Sonia; nephew, Carlitos; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

John was preceded in death by his father, John T. Barr III; grandmothers, Diane Falrey and Gregoria Gomez; grandfather, John T. Barr II; great grandfather, John T. Barr; uncles, Cristopher Barr, Pedro Gomez, and Gabriel Gomes; and aunts, Sylvia Medino and Abigail Sosa.

A memorial visitation will be held Thursday January 4, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home 3012 Sheridan Road Zion, Illinois 60099. Followed by a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home.
