We are truly grateful for the nursing staff and memory care team at The Landing on Dundee in Wheeling, IL for taking great care of our mom in the final chapter of her life.
Dad loved to travel; Mom, not so much. But occasionally she would make the trip if it was important to Dad. This picture was taken someplace in Europe, in or near Germany. I tagged along sometimes, too. Dad spoke fluent German so we took the tour with a German speaking tour guide. I remember Mom and I didn’t understand a lick of what was being said, so we made up stories about the castle and giggled the entire time. Mom had a great sense of humor and razor sharp wit.
