Obituary of Robert Buku

Robert Buku Sr. passed away December 13, 2023. He was born November 26, 1940 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. 

Roberts family moved to Illinois when he was 5. Robert joined the United States Navy at the age of 17. He came home to marry his wife Pat Wiskur. They spent 58 wonderful years together. 

Robert worked at Abbott for 33 years, working in many positions. He passed away at home after long illness. Robert was a gentle, kind man that would do anything for you if he could. 

Robert is survived by his wife Pat; son, Bob Jr.; cousin, Jan Keiler; brother-in-law, Jim (Trish) Wiskur; and many nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Alexander and Maxine Buku.
