Obituary of Claressa Ann Smith
Claressa Ann Smith, 52, passed away on October 13, 2023 in Chicago, Illinois.
Claressa was born on July 28, 1971 in Lake Forest, Illinois the daughter of Clarence Smith Jr., and Winnie (Jordan) Smith. Claressa graduated Zion-Benton Township High School then attended college to receive her certification to be a Certified Nursing Assistant. She worked at the Grove at the Lake (formerly Sheridan Health Care Center). Her caring personality and love carried on to her family and children who she cherished deeply. Claressa loved to listen to music and dance.
She is survived by her son, Quentin Smith; parents Winnie Smith, and Clarence Smith Jr.; sister Benetral Smith; aunts, Ida Jordan, Roberta Jordan; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Ashley Smith.
