To All of the family members of Helen.
My heart felt condolences. Helen will be truly missed. Helen & Leo were my godparents. And Helen took that responsibility pretty seriously. And my parents, Bob & Lucille Burns were Lisa's
godparents. So for our younger years our families were very close.
Memories are still the best. And am truly glad that I could be a part of all that in some small way. May your smile & laugh always be a part of something greater wherever you are...
There are too many memories, but my parents (Ted and Alice) made many a weekend trip to Waukegan when we were children and spent much time with Leo and Helen; and Anna and Bill Sorvari also. With a son in Flagstaff, I stopped and saw Helen and Russ in Phoenix a couple times and enjoyed talking family memories with them.

I first met Helen when I began teaching at McCall Elementary School. We became friends during the 7 years we both were there. I attended her wedding to Russ at St. Mark's. After Russ' passing, when Helen moved back to Illinois, I was no longer attending St Mark's, but we kept in touch via social media. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. Your family will be in my prayers. Wishing you peace and comfort as you mourn.
