Obituary of Nancy Frye

Nancy Frye, 89, of Chandler AZ formerly of Winthrop Harbor, IL passed away surrounded by her family on April 15, 2023 just shy of her 90th birthday. She was born on May 28, 1933 in Waukegan, IL the daughter of John and Margaret (Nielsen) DeBoer.

Nancy married her husband Lloyd Frye on February 16, 1952 in Waukegan, IL. She worked as a bookkeeper for Feinberg’s Men Store and Tewes Company.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Crawford, of Pleasant Prairie, WI; granddaughter, Kaitlyn (Dr. Andrew Cohen) Crawford of Los Angeles, CA; sister Kathleen Pott, of Chandler, AZ; several loving nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces.

She is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Frye; parents, John and Margaret DeBoer; brother, John D. (Jean) DeBoer; brother-in-law John Pott.

A special thanks to her nieces Debbie Pott, Audrey Draginiatis, Cherie Pott, and special friends Don and Joyce Pott who took such great care of her while she lived in Arizona.

All services were held privately at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park Cemetery in Zion, IL.
