I regret not standing up to share my memory of Lloyd yesterday…I have a precious memory that I will never forget. It was when Val was born, I had called Beulah to ask if I could come see the baby, and she said of course I could, but wanted to give me a heads up, that Lloyd wouldn’t let anyone hold the baby other then himself or her.. she didn’t want my feelings hurt. I walked into the house and over by the babies bassinet, with Lloyd following, and he reached down and picked her up and said Do you want to hold her? Whaattt? But I was more then happy to take that precious bundle in my arms and hold her.. I have told this story many times, and should have shared it yesterday… but here it is, He was so precious to me.. I loved him….

Beulah, I am so sorry and you have my deepest sympathies. I understand your loss and you're in my thoughts and prayers. I have known and loved you and Lloyd for most of my life. I'm grateful to be part of your family. Lloyd was always so sweet to me and had a precious heart.
Valerie and Troy, your Dad will be missed by many, most especially the two of you. My heart goes out to you, as well as my prayers.
Valerie, my sister, I'm here if you need me.
Cody, Laura and Sam, I hope you know how much you are loved. While you're grieving, put your arms around your family and hold them all close.
For the great grandbabies, we'll make sure you know what a great man your Great-grandpa was.
Lloyd, thank you for the kindness you always showed me. I love you and will miss you.

My sincerest sympathies, along with prayers for comfort and peace to Beulah, Valerie and Troy.
I remember my last conversation with Lloyd around a year ago. Beulah was on one end of the conversation and Lloyd was on the other. It was a very good talk.
I have some very good and fond memories of Lloyd. We had a lot of innocent fun and good laffs. He had a great sense of humor with a quick wit. You couldn't get anything pass him. He fought the good fight until the end. The thing I remember the most from our conversation that night, he told me that he loved me as we were saying goodbye to each other. That meant more to me than anything. Lloyd's walk with God and trusting the Lord changed his life. It also impacted many other lives. One day I will and we will see him again. Thank you for the goodtimes my friend Lloyd. See you at the reunion.
