Obituary of Sandra Collins

Sandra “Sandy” Collins, 66, passed away on March 27, 2023. She was born on March 22, 1957 in Waukegan, IL the daughter of John and Mildred Tapper.

Sandy married her husband, Bob Collins on February 5, 1988. Together they had their loving daughter Sue Collins. Sandy loved her family, and animals, she was a huge Cub’s fan.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Collins; daughter, Sue Collins; grandchildren, Damien, Dominic, Donovan, Rebecca, Bria, Dusty and Dillion; Siblings, Dianna Wagner, Millie Pyle, Ann Hanna, John Kukla, Suzanne Olsen and Janice Tapper; many nieces and nephews and two Godchildren, Sandy Pyle Ardoin and Nick DeCastro.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Billy Kukla, Marty Kukla, Jim Kukla, Dennis Kukla and Tom Kukla.

Memorial visitation will take place on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL. Memorial contributions can be made to Safe Harbor Humane Society in Kenosha, WI.
