I met Bill many years ago through our common interest in Model A Fords. Bill was a perfectionist and a talented machinist as well as a great guy. Always willing to help out and bring a little levity into the mix. He will truly be missed. May he rest in peace.

Bill was a truly decent human-being, a "one-of-a-kind" guy - and anyone (or animal) that was fortunate enough to know him was very blessed.
I met Bill thru business dealings when he had his shop in the garage of his home on Stateline/Russell Road. One day he invited me into his house for something and we walked past several beautiful, vintage British street-racing bikes he had arranged like artwork in his living room - at that moment, I knew Bill was a kindred spirit who I had to get to know better!
Bill got life right. He made sure that he engaged in "whatever was next" and also made certain to remember the details of countless adventures - all of which helped him create a legacy of fascinating vignettes and stories, swapping life stories with him was always a blast!
As a business guy, he strove to provide the highest level of quality - and also practiced the highest level of business ethics/integrity. He was a pleasure to work with, especially when dealing with complex, technical issues - true testament to his knowledge, creativity and his genuine desire to help.
Bill, you will be greatly missed by family, friends and animals down here - but I'm thinking that you're in a place where you can reconnect with passed family/friends (and pets) and ride a Triumph in the morning, a BSA at mid-day and Norton in the evening. Take care and God-speed.
