Obituary of Donna K Bukantis

Donna Bukantis (nee Franz) 82, passed away March 18, 2023 at Victory Hospital in Waukegan. 

She was born November 30, 1940 in Waukegan,  Illinois to the late Robert and Marie Franz.

Donna cherished spending time with her family, going out to dinner, getting her hair done every Friday, and spending time on beautiful summer nights in her backyard admiring her gorgeous flowers.

She is survived by her loving sons, Richard Bukantis (Vera Barrientos), Randy ( Debbie) Bukantis,  one brother Robert (Jane) Franz, 4 grandchildren, Amber, Carly,  Stephanie,  and Ryan.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marie Franz, her beloved husband of 60 years, Edward (Butch) Bukantis, and her sister,  Marlene Shields. 

Visitation will take place Monday, April 3 from 9:00 to 10:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Humility Church, 10655 West Wadsworth Road, Beach Park, Illinois. Interment to follow at Ascension Catholic Cemetery in Libertyville, Illinois.
