Obituary of Carol Ann Petersen

Carol A. Petersen, 78, of Pleasant Prairie, WI passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 24, 2023. She was born on July 3, 1944 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Francis and Marcelline (Gurney) Miller. 
 
Carol previously lived in Zion, IL and was a member of Our Lady of Humility Church, she worked as a bookkeeper for thirty years at Olson oil and then later Home Depot. Carol enjoyed reading, and watching the Hallmark Channel. She loved playing the dice game Bunco, and go bowling. Carol was a Cub's and Bear's fan and enjoyed fishing in Minnesota. 
 
 
Carol is survived by her daughter, Marcy (James) Lucht; grandchildren, Tamara Dillon, Nathan Campbell; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Grahm, Levi, Presley; sister, Judith Miller. She will be dearly missed by her loving family members and friends.
 
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Petersen; parents; and sisters June, and Patricia.
 
Graveside service will take place on April  28, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park in Zion, IL.
