Obituary of Jeanine Poindexter

Jeanine Marie Poindexter of Milwaukee, WI, passed away February 4, 2023. She was born April 8, 1969 in Waukegan, IL.

Jeanine grew up in Beach Park IL, graduating high school at Zion Benton. Jeanine loved to write poems, even sending some of them off to Hallmark. She married her husband Louis Chattard January 16, 2016 in Milwaukee, WI.

Jeanine is survived by her husband Loius Chattard; son, Calvin A. Poindexter; sister, Donna Poindexter; brother, Stacy (Christine) Poindexter; step-sister, Johnna; step-brother, Gordon and nieces and nephews Russel (Daniel) Keith, Michael Keith, Cheyenne (Josh) Belk, Jalen, Dylan, Coral, Gavin, and Michael.

Jeanine is preceded in death by her mother, Linda Smith; sister, Penny Keith; Brother, William Poindexter and nephew, Randy Novak.

Memorial service will take place Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private for the family.
