Obituary of Lorraine Plasky

Lorraine G. Plasky, passed away February 9, 2023 in her home of Zion, IL. born January 1, 1948 in Stevens Point, WI.

Lorraine was married in Stevens Point, WI, before moving to Zion where she would live out the rest of her life surrounded by her loving family.

Lorraine is survived by her children Brian Plasky, Duane Schultz - Plasky, Sandra Nixon/Nee Plasky, Thomas Plasky, Tammy Evans Nee Plasky, Pamela Gilpin Nee Plasky, Brenda Burton Nee Plasky; grandchildren Joshua Plasky, Duane Jr., Serenity Schultz, Megan Nixon, Charles III., Amanda Gilpin, Tiffany Gilpin, Sheila, Wesley, Morgan Leanne Burton; brother Dominic Hoppa; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband Harold L. Plasky; Parents Elizabeth and Stanley Hoppa, Carol Perzinski, Clarence Hoppa, Harold Hoppa, Elsie Modsewski, Ernie Hoppa. 

A visitation will be held Thursday February 16, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Congdon Funeral Home 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL, 60099. Followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Lorraine will be laid to rest with her husband Harold at a later date at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion, IL.
