Obituary of Helen K. Hamlin

Helen K. Hamlin of Winthrop Harbor, IL passed away on February 2, 2023. Helen was born on March 2, 1936, in Waukegan, IL to Eugene and Edith Regenauer.  Helen grew up in Waukegan where she lived with parents, brother, and sister. She graduated from Waukegan highschool and was a longtime member of Community Christian Church of Lake County.  Helen married her husband Donald William Hamlin on March 31, 1962 in Waukegan, IL.  Helen was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to spend time with her family and later in life, loved spending lots of time with her only grandson Donny Hamlin.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hamlin; parents, Eugene and Edith Regenhauer; and sister, Betty Stanczak.

Helen is survived by her Son Donald Hamlin; Grandson Donny Hamlin; and Brother Carl Regenauer.

Services will be private for the family.
