Obituary of Robert Molidor

Robert J. Molidor, 89, died on Thursday, November 8, 2006, at the Terrace Nursing Home in Waukegan. He was born June 25, 1917, to Bessie and William Molidor. Bob and his wife Eva returned to Waukegan in October of 2004 after having lived in Oklahoma for 45 years. He loved working his cattle ranch in Oklahoma for 40 years before moving to "town" in Muskogee. Bob served in the United States Army during World War II in the Aleutian Islands and received two bronze stars. He was a fun loving guy and a wonderful uncle. We will miss him, but have wonderful memories. Survivors include a sister, Kathryn (Frank) Dvorscak; brother, Kenny (Jessie) Molidor; nieces, Judy (Ray) Richardson, Margaret (Pete) Bragado, and Kim (Don) Vayr; nephews, George (Carol) Schlung, Ray (Judy) Litwiler, Bill (Debbie) Litwiler; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Eva; mother and father, Bessie and William Molidor; brother, Raymond Molidor; and sister, Margaret "Peggy" House. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Humility Church, 10655 W. Wadsworth Rd., Beach Park, with Rev. Dr. David J.Mulvihill officiating. Interment will be private for the family.
