Obituary of Lois E Johnson

Lois E. Johnson of Kenosha, WI passed away peacefully November 1, 2022 at home. She was born August 17, 1923 in Chapin, IA.

Lois lived in various residences in Illinois and Iowa, also Burlington, WI. Lois enjoyed working on crafts, going to garage sales, getting together with family and friends, and volunteering at the senior center. She had a great sense of humor and had a very infectious laugh. She always said her secret to a long life was a glass of wine before bed and a piece of chocolate every day.

Lois is survived by her children, Michael Lowery, Barbara Perz and Steve (Karen) Johnson; grandchildren, Michael Lowery Jr, Dawn (Mark) Petges, Kellie (Andy) Lintner, Kevin (Leah) Lowery, Angela Johnson, Scott Johnson, Stephanie (Ilya) Caplin, Justin (Katie) Perz, Aaron (Tomara) Delahoussaye and Kara (Mike) Kirkpatrick and Thirteen great-grandchildren.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Nell Ewens; husbands, Carl Lowery in 1973 and Robert Johnson in 2014 and son, Patrick Lowery in 2021.

Services will be scheduled for the Spring of 2023.
