Obituary of Donna Bock

Donna May Bock, 82, of Libertyville, IL passed away on October 22, 2022. She was born September 26,1940 in Kenosha, WI to Kenneth and Lois (Walden) Julius. Donna grew up in Kenosha, the middle of three girls. She graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in Kenosha.

She raised all 4 of her children in Kenosha and then moved to San Diego, California in 1987 with her youngest daughter Kathleen who had just graduated High School. At the time her son David and daughter Janet were living in San Diego as well. She spent many years in San Diego where she enjoyed spending time with friends, daughter Kathy and grandson, Mason, living with them for a few years. She loved decorating with her seasonal decorations and villages often inviting family and friends to show them off. After Retiring from her career as a Dry Cleaner she moved back to Gurnee, IL and continued to enjoy her passion for decorating with holiday decorations and elaborate small villages creating entire tiny towns for all to enjoy. Fall was her favorite time of year but she loved decorating her home for all the seasons and special holidays. She loved spending time with family at holiday gatherings, planning menus, baking and shopping with sisters Bev and Karen, especially during senior discount day at the second hand stores. She was loved by all and will be missed dearly.

Donna is preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Kenneth & Lois Julius, her Brother-in-law Marc Ingersoll, her Son, Thomas Bock, and her Sister, Karen Pindel.

She left behind one sister, Beverly Ingersoll;  three children, David (Jan) Bock, Janet (Terry) Gray, and Kathleen Bock; six grandchildren, Nicole (Aaron) DeLassus, Matthew Gray, Samantha (fiancé Max) Bock, Joseph Gray, Mason Scolley, and Peter Gray; four great-grandchildren, Violet DeLassus, Ezra Gray, Stella DeLassus, and Dylan DeLassus. Nieces and nephews; Scott Ingersoll, Brian (Debi) Ingersoll and Lori Davila

Visitation will be Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M at Congdon Funeral Home in Zion. Service will be immediately following at 11:00 A.M. Burial is 1:00 PM at Sunset Ridge Cemetery, 4300 Green Bay Rd., Kenosha, WI 53144.
