Obituary of Daniel Woodall
Daniel Woodall, 30, of Chicago, IL, passed away on October 5, 2022.
Daniel was born October 21, 1991 in Lansing, MI and grew up in Zion, IL.
He is survived by his parents, David and Margot Woodall; siblings, Jonathan Woodall, Michael (Sandra) Woodall, Starla Eisold, and Jasmine Woodall; a niece, nephew, aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Peter and Mary Ellen Martens; paternal grandparents, Ronald and Darline Woodall; and an aunt, Judy Matthias.
Daniel’s life was filled with joy and heartache as he struggled with multiple physical difficulties for many years. His outgoing personality and infectious smile impacted many. As a child and teenager, Daniel loved to play sports: basketball, baseball, soccer, ice skating, rollerblading, and bicycle riding. He loved the outdoors with its frogs, turtles, snakes, and fish. In his youth he memorized Scripture and received the Timothy Award in AWANA. Daniel attended Lake County Baptist School and Christian Life School.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Christ Community Church, 2500 Dowie Memorial Drive, Zion. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Please visit the online guest book at www.congdonfuneralhome.com.
