Obituary of Romeo Tabuena Jr.

Romeo V. Tabuena Jr., 73, of San Carlos Negros Occidental, Philippines passed away October 1, 2022.

Romeo married Armida Aban Tabuena, in Chicago, IL. He graduated college with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, and worked as a cost analyst for Peer Bearing Company in Waukegan, IL. Romeo was a member of Living Word Christian Church and often spent his free time within church groups. His hobbies included singing, dancing, gardening, and baking.

Romeo is survived by his wife, Armida Aban Tabuena; children, Ryand (Millie) Tabuena, Kathleen Tabuena; stepsons, Jezreel (Erin) Somentac, Grandee Somentac, and Erick Somentac; grandchildren, Gabriel Aryan Mercado, Bryan Zachary Tabuena Aleksandras, Aela Cruz, Camila dela Crus, Ryand Tabuena Jr.; and siblings, Cinderella (Vic) T. Flores, Maurie (Polding) Canete, Evelyne Tabuena.

Romeo is preceded in death by his parents, Romeo Villalva Tabuena Sr., and Pacita Villarin Tabuena.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Living Word Christian Church, 1821 27th Street, Zion, IL.
