Obituary of Paul Lindley
Paulman "Paul" C. Lindley, 78, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at his home in Noblesville. He was born on November 27, 1943 to Robert and Ludie (Hagood) Lindley in Halltown, Alabama.
Paul served his country in the United States Army from 1965 to 1967 in Germany. On July 20, 1967, he married Faye Bolding in Red Bay, Alabama and together they moved to Zion, Illinois and had two children, Chris and Todd. He enjoyed playing golf and working in his garden where he gladly shared his vegetables with friends and neighbors. Paul was a long-standing member of the Zion Benton Moose Lodge and retired from Outboard Marine Corporation in Waukegan after 32 years of service. He and Faye moved to Noblesville in 2010 where he was a member of the Noblesville Moose Lodge and American Legion.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Faye; sons, Chris (Kirsten) and Todd (Rebecca); grandchildren, Allison (Joshua) Olson, Connor Lindley, Drew Lindley, and Aiden Lindley; brother, Charles (Carolyn) Lindley; and step-sister, Betty Davis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Henrietta; and siblings, Baxter, Rowe, Keifer, Hollis, Lois, and Oniece.
The family extends deep appreciation to the Heartland Hospice Care staff for their comforting care and support.
Memorial visitiation will be held Friday, September 30, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099.
