Obituary of Carole G. Cooprider

Carole G. Cooprider, 88, passed away on August 22, 2022 at Rolling Hills Nursing home, where she was under hospice care after a lengthy illness.
 
Carole was born on December 25, 1933 to William and Ellen (nee Boquist) Weese in Blue Island, IL where  she was raised. She then moved to Winthrop Harbor,IL when her children were young and married James R. Cooprider in 1958. She enjoyed babysitting, hosting Christmas cookie exchanges, and Christmas Eve open house. Carole worked as a bookkeeper for various businesses. In 1994 Carole and James R. retired to Hayward, WI on Nelson Lake, until they returned to Illinois in 2018. 
 
Carole is survived by her children, Keith (Jan) Cooprider, Kim  (Jim) Hankin; granddaughter, Sarah Cooprider; great-granddaughters Kensi Cooprider, Zoe Cooprider; siblings, Myrtle Novak, Ellen Housley, Jane Teutsch, Ruth Ulrich, Doris Heinecke, Dwaine Weese; many nieces and nephews. 
 
She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Cooprider; husband, James R. Cooprider; parents; siblings, Albert Weese, Calvin ( Lillian) Weese, Marion Strange, Bertha (Cyril) 'Dutchie' Heselton; brother-in-laws, Bernard Housley, Edward Novak, Richard Teutsch, and Joel Heinecke; nephew, Peter Ulrich.
