Obituary of Daniel Copeland

Daniel Orrin Copeland, 58, of Beach Park, IL, previously of Tullahoma, TN passed away on July 2, 2022 in Waukegan, IL. Daniel was born on September 10, 1963 in Waukegan, IL the son of Devon Copeland, and Ester Hill.
 
Daniel joined the Army during High School, once he was honorably discharged he married his wife Sherry Warvi on August 29, 1987 at St. John Church in Waukegan, IL.  He worked for Motorola for several years, Nickel aluminum, and then Pizza Hut before his retirement. Daniel loved being outdoors, especially fishing, and going on walks. He would attend all types of churches for services. He loved to watch a good western movie, and play football on a sega genesis. 
 
Daniel is survived by his wife Sherry Copeland; children, Melissa (Thomas) Wike, Daniel (fiance Tina Tatro) Copeland; six grandchildren, Kyle, Dustin, Brandon, Charli, Ej, Nessy; step-father Howard Brown; siblings, Donald (Hazel) Copeland, Yvonne (Dennis) Dutra, Pam Brown; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 
 
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister Joan McGee. 
 
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd. Zion, IL 60099.
