Obituary of Joretta June Smith

Joretta June Smith, 91, of Kenosha, WI passed away July 3, 2022 in Burlington, WI. She was born February 27, 1931 to Vern and Ruth Fredrick in El Reno, Oklahoma.

Joretta worked as an executive secretary. She loved gardening, painting crafts, sewing, parties, family, and faith. She married George L. Smith,  Jr. on July 1, 1950.
Joretta is survived by her children, Michael (Geraldine) Smith and Steven (Debbie) Smith; grandchildren, Jaimie (Scott) Belanger, David Smith, Nicholas (Sara) Smith, Sherry, Steve Jr, Matt, Shane (Christina) Fischer, Sarah Lambert, and Suzy (Randy) Olson; great grandchildren; Michael, Lucy, Sam, Ella, Victoria, Gage, Blake, Connor, Jonathan (Sarah), Samuel, Benjamin, Joshua, Alexandra, and Jacob; great- great grandchildren, Lincoln, and Kyri; sister, Patricia (Lionel) Parnecia; son in law, Michael Snow and daughter in law, Ronna Smith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Vern, and Ruth Fredrick; husband, George L. Smith Jr.; children, Richard Smith and Pamela Snow; and great grandchildren, Jossette and Emily.
Graveside service will take place Thursday July 14, 2022, at 10 AM at Warren Cemetery, 1475 North Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL.Pastor Christina Fischer to officiate.
