I just heard of his passing today. So sorry for your loss. I would always run into him at Menards and he always had a smile and kind words.

Not only was George a great neighbor and amazing friend…. He was family. George had a heart of gold and loved kids. He treated my children as his own grand kids, with much love and care. George was a man of many trades, but most of all he was a giver. George would extend a hand and help anyone in need. He always was happy to see you and carried a big cheesy smile on his face. He will be truly missed and forever stay in our hearts. Thank you for all of your kindness, love and generosity George. You will always hold a place in the Martinez’s hearts.

I say george was my bestfriend, even though i was his daughter angela’s bestfriend. He was literally like my greek dad. He taught me so many wise things, and one time i remember i walked out to get a water and he was just sitting in his little spot watching lady gaga.. it was random but he was such a comedy relief

Still trying to process that George is gone, he was the most wonderful man. I will forever cherish the time that I spent with him either at his home for Greek Easter or at the picnics that were arranged or just running into him somewhere. George was such a happy man full of love and Caring for everyone that he knew. I'm so thankful for being able to know him and being adopted into his family. You are truly missed already George...until we meet again in our Fathers Heaven. ❤️

George was a man of SO many talents. Most special to me was asking me to baptize his daughter Edna. He always poured out love to anyone he met, always had a smile on his face, and was just the most kindest loving man. George you will be missed.
Hugs, love, and prayers to all of the family.
