Obituary of Patrick Werner

Patrick F. Werner of Winthrop Harbor, IL passed away June 18, 2022 at home.

Patrick was a decorated veteran with many accomplishments, one being served in the Vietnam War. He married Jerri Werner on March 26, 1999 in Chicago, IL. Patrick retired from the Chicago Transit Authority.  He was a very generous and caring person.  He loved his children and grandchildren deeply.  He was the type of person who was always there when someone needed them. If he had anything anyone needed, he would give it to them with no hesitation.  He was also very funny and you could talk to him for hours about anything.  He gave great advice and was a wonderful listener.  He had many friends who loved him dearly.  Overall he was a wonderful human being with a heart of gold. 

Patrick is survived by his children, Patrick and Jamie Werner, and Erick Johnson; step-children, Arlene Termini and Paul Blue; grandchildren, Landon Werner, Gianna Werner, Levi Johnson, Dylan Johnson, Ashley Johnson, Luke Johnson, Sarah Bora, Delaney Bora and step-grandchild, Jonathan Stone; sister, Donna-Mae.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Jerri J Werner.

Services will be private for the family.
