Obituary of Paul P Telle

Paul Telle, 86, of Park City, Illinois, passed away May 29, 2022, in Waukegan, Illinois. Paul was born in Kirkwood, Missouri March 7, 1936. Paul married Barbara Muthig August 24, 1936, at St. Peters Church in Kirkwood, Missouri. He Earned a Ph.D. in nutrition from the University of Missouri Mizzou in 1968. Paul is a former member of the American Society of Animal Science, American Dairy Science Association, American poultry Science Association, Professional Animal Scientist, American Dietetic Association, Professional Chaplain Association. He was Ordained a Deacon of the Roman Catholic Church April 28, 1990 and retired in November 2009. Paul was an Alderman of Park City, Illinois from 2009 to 2013. Served as a hospital chaplain at Victory Memorial Hospital now known as Vista Medical Center East since 1991. He served on the Institutional Review Board for Vista and served on the advisory board for Star Hospice. Paul is Survived by his wife, Barbara Telle; children, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Hall, Cynthia (Todd) Cassidy, Audrey Mackey, Patricia Telle and Paul (Colleen) Telle Jr; grandchildren, Tyler, Benjamin, Stephanie, Lindsey, Amanda, Rita and Maria; great grandchildren, Klaira, Leyna, Emery, Timothy, Olivia and Scarlett. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, and brothers. Visitation will take place on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, Illinois at 10:00 – 12:00 noon. Service will begin following the visitation at 12:00 noon. Interment will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your local food shelter.
