Obituary of Mark Barrows

Mark William Barrows, 46, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, formerly of Waukegan, IL, died on Saturday, October 14, 2006, at home. Mark was born September 13, 1960, in Waukegan, IL, and was a 1978 graduate of Waukegan Township High School. He later earned an Associates Degree while he lived in Florida. Mark loved his family and was a generous person who loved to help people and fix whatever was broken; everything from computers to hearts. He enjoyed cooking and fishing, and loved playing his guitar. Mark also loved nature. "We will miss him until we see him again!" Survivors include his mother, Mary Hamilton of Beach Park, IL; father, Leon Barrows Sr. of Black River Falls, WI; four brothers, Bob (Cathy) Barrows of Cape Girardeau, MO, Rick (Kathy) Barrows of Zion, IL, Leon Barrows Jr. of Beach Park, IL, and Jeff (Dawn) Barrows of Beaumont, TX; four sisters, Sue (Terry) Voeller of Black River Falls, WI, Linda (Terry) Dodge of Zion, IL, Jackie Genunzio of Ft. Myers, Florida, and Nancy Barrows of Kenosha, WI. Also surviving are 12 nieces, 15 nephews, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many beloved friends. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 20, 2006, at 7:30 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment is private for the family.
