Obituary of Charlotte M. Johnson

Charlotte M. Johnson, 79, of Waukegan, IL, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2019. Charlotte was born May 26, 1940 in Antigo, WI. She married Robert Johnson on June 28, 1958 in Waukegan, IL. She graduated from Zion High School and retired from the Zion School District. Charlotte kept a lovely home, was a great cook and loved caring for her extensive beautiful gardens. She loved spending time with family and her cherished dog Beau, but most of all she doted on her grandsons, Matthew and Scott. She liked to travel to her birthplace in Antigo, WI whenever possible. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Charlotte is survived by her children, Sally Johnson (David) Sandine, Robert S. Johnson, and Donna M. Klammer; grandchildren, Matthew David Sandine and Scott C. Klammer; three brothers; one sister; one step-sister; and one step-brother; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Kegley; mother, Pearl Kegley; stepmother; one step-brother; and one step-sister. Services will be private for the family.
