Obituary of Theodore Thompson

Theodore Bruce Thompson,90, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2022 in Kenosha, WI. Theodore was born on December 29, 1931 in Zion, IL the son of Vernon and Dorothy (nee Lambert) Thompson. He graduated from Zion Benton Township High School in 1950. Shortly after he married his high school sweetheart with whom he had five daughters. He and his family lived in Lakeland, Florida, he remained there for several years before moving back to Zion,IL. Theodore worked as a handy carpenter, and made cabinets. He was known for his funny stories, great sense of humor, and great personality. He enjoyed going to the coffee shop and talking to local friends. Theodore is survived by five daughters, April Teets, Lori Harris, Debbie Waterloo, Tammy Jensen, Penny Harris; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother Duwayne Thompson; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Theodore was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Leroy Thompson, Laverne McDowell; niece Michelle Thompson.
