Obituary of Mary Virginia "Ginny" Dolan

Mary Virginia (Ginny) Dolan, 93 formerly of Zion, IL passed away peacefully on Sunday February 6, 2022 in Mundelein, IL. She was born February 3, 1929 in Waukegan, IL. Ginny is survived by one grandson, Jeffrey Dolan of Austin, TX, and one great-grandson, Kellen Dolan, also of Austin, TX. She is also survived by four nieces, one nephew, six great-nieces/nephews and seven great-great-nieces/nephews. Ginny was preceded in death by her husband William A. (Bill) Dolan, her two sons, Scott and Bob, her parents, Helen and Earl Raiden and her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Ann Raiden. Ginny retired in 1982 from Sears in Waukegan and prior to that worked as a proof-reader for the sports section of the Waukegan News-Sun. She also, along with her husband and sons, owned and operated Leno's Sub Shop in Waukegan for more than 30 years. Funeral services honoring Ginny's life will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 1436 Kenosha Road, Zion, IL.
