Obituary of Kenneth Slater Stefaniak
Kenneth Slater Stefaniak, 51, of Zion, IL passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 in Waukegan.
Kenneth was born October 14, 1970 in Chicago, IL and was a previous resident of Zanesville, OH. Kenneth attended Wells High School where he participated in baseball, softball and football. He also enjoyed watching the Chicago Bears, White Sox and Blackhawks. Kenneth was a loyal friend; he talked to everyone he met and made fast friends everywhere. He was patriot; he loved his country and was proud of the men and women serving in the military. Kenneth loved playing card games with his family and teaching them those that they would play together. Most of all he loved his family; spending time with his nieces, nephews and goddaughter.
Kenneth is survived by his mother, Marilyn (Carl) Petrick; sister, Kelli (Hugo) Quintero; nieces, Mary (Jacob) Mundstock and Alexis Quintero; nephews, Matthew and Jacob Quintero; great-niece, Olivia
Mundstock; great-nephew, Jaxson Mundstock; goddaughter, Angelica Trevizo; special friends, Dawn Puente and Tennille and Matt Fleming from Zanesville, OH; and neighborhood friends, the Paulina brothers, from the 60622.
He was preceded in death by his partner of 13 years, Devaun Forsythe.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL 60099 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 6:30 p.m.
