Obituary of Isaac Gonzalez

Isaac R Gonzalez , 88, passed away on January 8,2022. Isaac was born on August 29, 1933 in Bastro , TX to Luther and Vicente Gonzalez. He was employed and retired from Zion-Benton Township High School. He enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandchildren, family and friends. Isaac loved shopping, fishing, gadgets, being outdoors, taking vacations with family and overall enjoyed his life fully. He is survived by his children, Sony (Loretta) Maldonado, Isaac Gonzalez Jr, Robert (Marcella) Gonzalez, Maryann Gonzalez, Nancy (Charles) Dawson, Hilda Faulk, Henry Gonzalez, Trini (Reisa) Gonzalez, Diane (Rick) Johnson, Ricardo Gonzalez; 28 Grandchildren; 42 Great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Gonzalez, Vicente Gonzalez; wife, Martha Gonzalez; son, Raymond Gonzalez; daughter, Irene Morgan, son, Danny Gonzalez; daughter-in-law, Janice Gonzalez; son-in-law, William Morgan; and Grandson Juan Cruz. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m with a prayer service at 7:15 p.m. Entombment will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion, IL.
