Obituary of Luerine Adams

Luerine Adams, age 79, passed away in her sleep on January 12,2022. She was born March 17, 1942 in Russellville, Alabama to Thomas Preston and Alyet Irene Brown. Luerine married Joe Adams on April 8, 1960, who preceded her in death on April 25,1987. Out of this union, Luerine had two children - Marguerite (George) and Joseph (Kim); four grandchildren - Latoya, Whitney (Shawn), Ketrell and Hailey (Ryan); two great grandchildren; Harrison and Carter. Luerine was a life-long employee of Abbott Labs within their Accounts Payable department where she made a host of long-term friends. Luerine retired from Abbott Labs after twenty-five years of employment. Luerine enjoyed retirement with her family and doing word search, solitaire and watching all sports. Luerine enjoyed dressing to the “nines” and loved, loved luxurious items. Luerine also enjoyed visiting with her life-long friends and extended family. Luerine is survived by her brother Thomas (Jesse), brother Robert (Liz) and sister Hattie (Dennis); and her many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
