Obituary of June Leech

June R. Leech, age 95, of Zion, IL, died on December 24, 2012, at Vista Medical Center East, Waukegan, IL. June was born January 16, 1917, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She at various times belonged to the Zion Revival Center and Christ Community Church in Zion. June also had formerly worked for the Globe Department Store in Waukegan and Whiteside Drapery in Zion. She was also a member or the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. June is survived by sons, Greg Leech of Zion, IL, and Michael Tonnberg of Kenosha, WI; grandchildren, Scott Tonnberg, Becky (Steve) Swift, Chris Tonnberg, Melinda (Clint) Delp, Mitchell (Kimberly) Drew, Mary Drew, Amanda Wilcox, and Michelle Drew; great-grandchild, Ciera Wilcox; and other family. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold W. Tonnberg; second husband, Clifford Leech; daughter, Donna Rae Tonnberg Drew; sister, Beverly Michaelson; brother, Joseph William Hawley; and parents, Joseph and Leona Hawley. A Chapel Interment Service will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, 1436 Kenosha Rd., Zion, IL.
