Obituary of Loren Ballard

Loren E. Ballard 75, of Pleasant Prairie,WI formerly of Iuka, Mississippi the son of Herbert Ballard and Girttrue D. Holt passed away unexpectedly. Loren was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Air Force. Loren worked as a brick mason helping build the Zion library and the Zion police department before working for Abbott as a Logistics Coordinator for thirty years. He enjoyed golfing, camping and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He leaves behind his loving wife Peggy Ann Ballard, children; Daniel ( Sherri) Ballard, Elizabeth (Michael) Racine, grandchildren; Anthony Racine, Sydney Ballard, Ashley Racine, siblings; Betty (Dan) Harden, Angie (Taylor) Freeman, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Loren is preceded in death by his parents, and sister Nellie Ballard. All services were held privately.
