So sorry to hear of Nadines passing. Sounds like she was a very special person in life. I really haven't seen her since high school, but we also knew each other at Westfield. Mark, you were always a very good guy, nice golfing with you on the golf team. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

My friend, there are no words to describe the sadness felt. So many memories from high school day shenanigans, sports, tennis courts, weeks spent at my grandma’s, and lots and lots of laughter!
Weddings - you were my Maid of honor and Mark the best man. I was your bridesmaid at 9 months pregnant! Kids, fireworks on the boulevard, cookouts, family gatherings, green lake camping trips… most recent Bible studies… oh so many wonderful memories.
You were there for me when Mike was sick and passed 15 years ago and now I was there for you my friend.
True friends never go away. There are pauses in life, but with you my friend we could pick up where we left off without missing a beat.
My life is better because you were in it. I will greatly miss you here on earth however, I am ever so grateful that because of the blood of Jesus Christ and the grace He can only give, we will be reunited in eternity.
Mark, Luke,Matt and Paul, your wife and mother was loved so much by many and loved you all so unconditionally!
Live your lives in her honor and cherish each moment, continue sharing her memories with your grandchildren to forward her legacy.
I will be praying for you all as you continue this journey.
Love to you all

One of my favorite memories is that of the infamous Cousin Reunion's. Nadine & Mark would host the fun event which would sometimes combine Nadine's as well as Mark's Cousins. I will still giggle like a girl when I think of our shenanigans and water fights (even as "adults"!) Thorn's with barrages of water balloons and Nadine's side battling back with water tanks strapped to their backs (because the water hoses wouldn't go far enough! and the battle would stretch out beyond the yard boundaries.) Oh, & don't forget the competitive Volley Ball &/or bad-mitten! She seemed to host with such ease. Always making us all feel welcome. I can see and hear her laughing as I reminisce. Nadine was such a thoughtful, genuine, and fun loving woman. My heart aches when I think about the grief and loss for Mark and "the boys". To know Nadine was to love Nadine....and for sure, she will be missed by all who knew her! Love & Hugs from Indiana Family = Donita & Wayne Pauley

To Mark, Luke, Matthew, and Paul.
Our hearts were broken when we heard the news of Nadine's passing. The first thing we think of when we think of Nadine is the smile on her face and the laugher in her heart. I'm (Jerry) trying to remember the first time I met Nadine, probably around 4th or 5th grade in religious ed class. And we were in the same class 6th, 7th, and 8th grade years at Westfield. Those years were a lot of fun. I was also a part of the crew at Long John Silvers working with Mark and Nadine and got to witness the start of your romance. After college, Connie and I became great friends with both of you. We have many memories such as hanging out at each other's house, playing on a co-ed softball team, and even a trip to Door County. And I was very honored to stand up as a groomsmen at your wedding to witness the marriage of two very special people. You were blessed with three wonderful boys and became Team Thorn. We know that Nadine is now laughing and smiling in arms of the Lord, Jesus Christ.
Love, Jerry and Connie Jackovich

I’m so saddened to hear of Nadine‘s passing! I’ll miss seeing her in town when I would catch up with her life. Mark, I’m so sorry that Nadine has passed. I too was part of the Long John Silver gang and it was such wonderful years together. It was wonderful to play volleyball with Nadine and as everyone said, her smile never stopped and her laugh too.

Mark and Family,
I'm so very sad to hear of Nadine's passing. I have great fondness and memories of both of you from Scouting, school and of course Long John Silver's. I really like to think that I was the catalyst for you two to get together during those LJS years. It makes my heart happy to see that you had so many good years together and a loving family. My prayers will be full of blessings for all of you as you go through this difficult time. I pray that God will wrap his loving arms around you all and that you find some comfort knowing He is present and she is safely home.

On September 8 I received a phone call from Nadine regarding a service call. In closing she said “Give Pat a hug but don’t tell her who it’s from”. I went to my wife, gave her a hug and my wife said “Is that from Nadine ?” Nadine had become known for sharing hugs and we will always remember her for that.
