Obituary of Susan Linda Lisanti

Susan Linda Lisanti , 76, of Waukegan, passed away unexpectedly on September 6, 2021, at home. She was born on May 31, 1945, at Victory Memorial Hospital in Waukegan, IL. Susan grew up in Winthrop Harbor, IL, graduating from Zion-Benton High School in 1963. She worked over 20 years at the Lake County Courthouse, making many friends along the way. She was a devoted animal lover, always having several pets at one time, and rescuing many others. Susan is survived by her daughters Kristin (Philip) Kaplan of Beach Park and Kimberly (Luis) Solano of Arlington Heights; grandchild Marcella Solano; brother Bruce (Deborah) Lisanti; and nieces Emily and Annabelle Lisanti. She was preceded in death by her father Arthur Lisanti in 1966 and her mother Dorothy Lisanti in 2018. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home located at 3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Spay & Stay or Save-A-Pet, both of Grayslake if desired.
