Dear Jean, I met Fred when I was 8 or 9. I spent every hour of those days at the golf course. I would see Fred and his buddies playing every day. He was always fun and joking around. He would always make you feel special. My Dad and Fred drove truck for Leroy Davis Trucking for a lot of years. Fred didn't mind getting dressed up, he always looked very nice, and always had a nice tan.
We also bowled together. My thoughts and prayer go out to you all. This world is missing a special man. I know Fred is in Heaven joking, playing cards, and golfing, May the Lord comfort you all at this time. R I P Mr. Roberts
